Performing Shakespeare for a Modern World
SACRAMENTO, CALIFORNIA – Big Idea Theatre (BIT) and their BIT More program is hosting a workshop featuring Matt K. Miller. This workshop will be held on the following dates: September 18th, September 25th and October 2nd from 10AM for 2PM. The workshop will cost $125 for all three dates.
Matt K. Miller is a local actor and teacher with a rich and diverse career spanning over 40 years on the stage. He specializes in teaching William Shakespeare’s plays, language, context and history. Miller’s workshop with Big Idea Theatre this September and October will focus on how to perform the Bard for a modern audience. No monologue is required, but if individuals have scenes they would like to explore from Shakespeare they are welcome to come prepared with readings.
