We’re Going Online!
In response to the current COVID-19 situation, iTheatrics has made the tough decision to postpone all of our in-person summer programming for students for 2020 and will now be offering programing online. We are thrilled to be holding the following programs this June and July.
Online Edition Musical Workshops
These two-week programs will run Monday through Friday for two hours each day. Students will work with the iTheatrics creative team to learn the material for a 20-25 minute iTheatrics-adapted Online Edition Musical and perform it live for families at the end of the second week.
To participate, students must be able to use the Zoom platform, a laptop computer, and have a space where they can sing and dance freely. Show titles for these workshops are still being finalized as we work with the authors and the team at Music Theatre International to determine the titles that most lend themselves to this new platform. Potential titles include Dear Edwina, The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley, The Big One-Oh!, Uni The Unicorn, a brand-new musical written by iTheatrics’ own Timothy Allen McDonald and broadway’s Rob Rokicki: The Greatest 10 Minute Musical and many others.
The cost of each two-week program is $500, and there are a very limited number of need-based half scholarships available for each session. Additionally, there are 10% discounts for students who sign up for more than one program.
Check out the “Zoomsical” world premiere of The Big One-Oh! Online Edition produced by iTheatrics. Each workshop will culminate in a similar presentation.
These one-week programs will run Monday through Friday for two hours each day. Students will work with iTheatrics Resident Choreographer, Steven G. Kennedy, and Associate Choreographer, Shay Rodgers to learn a series of musical numbers with a focus on performance and storytelling through dance. Each one-week program will culminate in a presentation for families.
The cost of each one-week program is $325, and there are a limited number of need-based half scholarships available. Additionally, there are 10% discounts for students who sign up for more than one program.
How To Sign Up!
There is limited space in each program, so if your student is interested in applying for any of these programs, please fill out the linked Registration Form and email it back to email@example.com by MAY 14th. Once you have submitted your registration form, we will get back to you shortly with confirmation of your admittance and payment details. All payments will take place via email and/or online portal – we will not be accepting mailed-in or faxed payments. Payments will be due within one week of receiving your confirmation email.
