John Polidori, sometimes called Polly, author and personal physician to… Lord Byron, poet. Known as George.

A stormy evening. June,1816.The Villa Diodati, Lake Geneva, Switzerland. Gathered are, Mary Godwin (soon to be Shelley), her sister, Percy Bysshe Shelley, Dr. John Polidori and Lord Byron. There’s a contest among friends to see who can tell the greatest ghost story. Experience the creation of literature’s most memorable monster. Local playwright Jerry Montoya brings his unique take on the age old story to the Chautauqua stage.
