It’s time for a SPARKLEJOLLYTWINKLEJINGLY audition!

The Woodland Opera House is seeking a diverse group of talented humans for their cast of the holiday production of Elf the Musical. Seeking actors of any gender identity, size, race, and ability to come show how “sparklejollytwinklejingly” they can be! We are seeking a small children’s ensemble (ages 12+) and adults for a variety of lead, featured, and ensemble roles.
Elf the Musical runs November 19th through December 12th
at the Woodland Opera House.
Rehearsals will practice COVID safety for all involved. Please refer to the COVID policies at the top of our audition page for specific information. Please email woodlandoperahouse@gmail.com for questions or more information.
Audition Information:
All auditions are by appointment. We will see a total of 10 people per time slot; auditioners will be asked to sing and then learn a brief dance audition. After auditioners have completed both portions, they are free to leave. We will notify those selected for callbacks by email.
*You only need to attend one general audition*
Sunday, August 29th at 4:00 p.m.
Monday, August 30th at 7:00 p.m.
Callbacks by invitation will be held on Wednesday, September 1st at 7:00 p.m. or on Saturday, September 4th at 1:00 p.m.

All auditions will be held at the Woodland Opera House Theatre and Dance Annex at 520 Court Street in Woodland.
What to Bring:
  • Headshot and Resume. Don’t have either? That’s okay! Bring a snapshot or we will snap one of you. Bring a list of performance experience (if any.)
  • List of Conflicts Rehearsals should begin Sept 26th and run Sunday through Thursday, 7:00 – 10:00 p.m. Not everyone will be called to every rehearsal. Conflicts for tech week and performances are not allowed. (Tech week begins Sunday, November 14th.)
  • A brief song with sheet music. Songs should be 16-32 bars (roughly 1 minute) and already notated with any cuts. An accompanist will be provided. Please do not ask your accompanist to cut the music that day! Come prepared!
  • Dance shoes (or comfortable shoes) to move/dance in.
  • Your personality! This is a delightful show filled with hope and joy, so bring yours!
